Alt. Home Residence - ePatient.22

You can now select the patient's Alternate Home Residence using the new 'Alt. Home Residence' field when adding or editing a patient under Patient Information > Patient/Relatives.

Attachment Category - eOther.09

The Attachments > Category selection list now uses the same values configured in Web.

Note: The Attachment Category must be configured with a value set in the 'NEMSIS 3 Document Type' field for the category to be extracted for NEMSIS.

Current Medication Frequency - eHistory.20

You can now document the Frequency when adding Current Medications under Patient Information > PMHX/Meds/Allergies.

Note: Your Service must have Configuration > Service > Chart > Patient > Pt. Medication Layout set to 'Extended' to see the Frequency field.

Other Associated Symptoms - eSituation.10

You can now document 'Not Present' for Other Associated Symptoms under CC/HPI > Impression Diagnosis > Symptoms when Pertinent Negatives are enabled for your Service.

Configuration: Service > Chart > Use Pertinent Negatives set to 'Yes'

Neurological Assessment - eExam.20

The Neurological Assessment has been moved to Secondary Survey > Injury/Assessment > Add/Edit > Neurological. It has been updated to include all options to support NEMSIS 3.5.

New Disposition fields

The 'Outcome' field has been renamed to 'Disposition' and Services can now enable five new NEMSIS 3.5 Disposition Fields. You will find the new fields under Dispatch > General.

• Crew Disposition - eDisposition.29

• Transport Disposition - eDisposition.30

• Reason for Refusal/Release - eDisposition.31

To enable the new fields, go to Configuration > Service > Chart > General and set 'NEMSIS 3.5 Disposition Fields' to 'Yes'.

Body Survey

The Body Survey has been updated to match the NEMSIS 3.5 Anatomical Exam.

Signature locking

You will now be prompted to save or lock signatures before switching to different pages to ensure that the signatures are captured and saved successfully.

Windows client Remote Background Service connections

We fixed an issue with the Windows client attempting to connect to the Remote Background Service when the service was not running, resulting in an exception error in the logs.

Application loading issue

We fixed an issue causing the Windows application to not fully load for new installations when a Service was associated with a Pennsylvania Command Facility.

We are aware of the following issues and are working to resolve them in an upcoming release:

• NEMSIS 3.5: ZOLL emsCharts for Windows is not yet updated for NEMSIS 3.5 and cannot generate NEMSIS 3.5 data. You must upload your charts and complete them in ZOLL emsCharts Web to generate and validate NEMSIS 3.5 data.

• ZOLL Cloud EKG Import unexpected error: If the EKG Report Image Type for your service is set to anything other than 'Default (Leave as JPG, Bitmap)', users will receive an "Unexpected error" when trying to import into ZOLL emsCharts for Windows. Administrators can update this setting in the Web EKG Configuration code table.

• Multiple brands of EKG devices: If you use both ZOLL EKG devices and other manufacturers' devices, you will need two instances of ZOLL emsCharts for Windows installed.
